About Our Client

We are hiring for a Technical Project Manager in Photonic Integration for a R&D center developing Photonic Integrated Circuits (with SiNx) for advanced technology sectors including ground and space communication, quantum technologies, LiDAR, and biosensors. Their expertise lies in the commercialisation of silicon/nitride-core technology.

Role is based in Lausanne.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities of the Technical Project Manager - Photonic Integration

• Act as the main point of contact for customers.

• Translate customer requirements into clear project scopes and plans.

• Create proposals, effort estimates, and commercial documents.

• Coordinate with engineering and R&D teams to tailor solutions.

• Support customers before, during, and after the project.

• Build and maintain strong customer and partner relationships.

A technical project manager who understands integrated photonics, manages customer relationships, and ensures delivery of tailored solutions.

The Successful Applicant

Key Requirements for Technical Project Manager - Photonic Integration

• 3+ years' experience in integrated optics, photonics, or semiconductors.

• Strong customer orientation and proven project management experience.

• Solid technical problem-solving skills with hands-on photonics knowledge.

• PhD in integrated photonics/semiconductors is a plus,

• Experience with photonics simulation tools (e.g., Lumerical, COMSOL) is desirable.

• Fluent in English, collaborative and adaptable.
